Les Velez is a US Army veteran who has made  it his life’s mission to create a community of acceptance towards  people who have experienced encounters with UFO’s and UAP’s. Velez  joined MUFON, or the Mutual UFO Network, in 1991. Then, in 1994, he  co-founded the non-profit Organization for Paranormal Understanding and  Support, or OPUS, in 1994, where he continues to serve as the chairman  of the Board.
